Poetry Event at Erland Lee Museum

This is the fifth poetry event that Conrad and Maria DiDiodato have put together to my knowledge.  It was another successful one and the setting of the Erland Lee Museum was perfect.  It is a more accessible venue than we had in previous years.

Maria, our wonderful hostess with refreshments
The event started at 1 p.m. on Father's Day.

Conrad welcomed the assembled guests to the event.  There were 13 invited readers but unfortunately one of them was unable to attend.

As it was a rural setting, this year the suggested theme was to be about nature. As poets are usually quite sensitive people and observant of what goes on around them, it was an easy theme to have as most people enjoy nature.

It was interesting to note, that some of the poets came from as far away as Grimsby, Sarnia, Prescott, Cambridge and Toronto.

An afternoon well spent with friends and fellow poets. Poetry is alive and well in Hamilton and vicinity!

Special thanks goes to Conrad and Maria, our wonderful hosts.

Donna and Jennifer - Jennifer took the close up shots which were the best.

Thanks for dropping by.

    1. You're welcome Conrad. I did see it very briefly but cannot find it now. The picture you took of him was from the year before I think in Puddicombe Farm.
