Does a Song need to be Sung?
to be a poem?
I mean, for others to read or hear it.
Does a song need to be sung
to be a song?
Do people need to sing and hear it?
Does a manuscript have to be published
to be a book?
Isn't the act of writing reward enough?
Can a dancer be fulfilled
dancing for himself?
Or does he need to be staged for others to enjoy?
Is art an ego trip
searching for exterior praise?
Or is the act of creation enough?
Do artist have the right
to impose their works on others,
to effect change, to create conflict?
